Climate Museum
Located within the restored Hasanpaşa Gasworks at Müze Gazhane, the Climate Museum is a permanent exhibition exploring the causes, consequences, and possible futures of the climate crisis. Spread across two former gas purification buildings, the museum combines scientific research, historical context, multimedia installations, and interactive displays to examine the relationship between industrialisation, fossil fuels, and environmental change. Developed within the historic industrial complex, the exhibition encourages visitors to engage with climate change through immersive experiences, real-time data, documentary material, and participatory learning environments. By connecting the site's industrial past with one of the defining challenges of the present, the museum positions climate awareness as a collective responsibility and a catalyst for public dialogue.
