Parts & Moods
Parts & Moods explores the act of collecting through a selection of works from the Hancan Art Collection. Rather than presenting the collection as a fixed archive, the exhibition approaches it as an evolving narrative shaped by memory, personal choices, and the relationships between individual works, inviting visitors to reflect on collecting as a process of constructing meaning. Organised around two complementary sections, Parts and Moods, the exhibition examines both the relationships between individual works within the collection and the dialogue between collector and artist. Centred on Fikret Muallâ's works, Moods traces the artist's evolving practice alongside the collector's long-term engagement with his oeuvre, revealing the collection as a constellation of interconnected stories rather than a compilation of isolated objects.
