The Dynamic Eye: Beyond Op and Kinetic Art

Presented at Artİstanbul Feshane, The Dynamic Eye: Beyond Op and Kinetic Art brought together works from the Tate collection to explore the global history of optical and kinetic art. Bringing together modernist pioneers and contemporary artists, the exhibition examined movement, perception, and participation as central concerns of twentieth-century artistic practice. Through immersive spatial design, the exhibition invited visitors to actively engage with works that challenge visual perception and conventional modes of viewing. Rather than presenting optical and kinetic art as a closed historical movement, it positioned these practices within a broader international dialogue that continues to shape contemporary art.
