Solo Botter: Nuri İyem
Presented at Casa Botter, Solo Botter: Nuri İyem brought together a selection of works from different periods of the artist's career, highlighting the enduring themes and imagery that shaped his practice. Through portraits, landscapes, and figurative compositions, the exhibition explored İyem's search for a visual language rooted in the cultural and social realities of Türkiye. Focusing on recurring motifs—including his iconic female portraits, rural-to-urban migration, and intimate depictions of everyday life—the exhibition revealed the emotional resonance and humanism that define İyem's work. The spatial design emphasized the continuity of these themes across different stages of the artist's career, offering a cohesive reading of his evolving practice.
