Ahmet İsvan (1973-1977)

Presented at Saraçhane Exhibition Hall, Ahmet İsvan (1973–1977): Istanbul's People's Mayor examined the legacy of Ahmet İsvan through archival photographs, documents, caricatures, publications, audiovisual materials, and objects drawn from both his personal archive and the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality archives. The exhibition design employed layered installations to reflect the multifaceted nature of İsvan's political and personal identity, while immersive spatial interventions visualised his close relationship with the public, foregrounding his vision of participatory and people-oriented municipal governance.
