Solo Botter: Selma Gürbüz
Presented at Casa Botter, Solo Botter: Selma Gürbüz brought together a selection of works from different periods of the artist's career, offering an overview of her distinctive visual language. Centered on recurring themes of women, nature, and living beings, the exhibition revisited Gürbüz's imaginative universe through paintings and works across different media. Drawing on mythology, folklore, and shared cultural memory, the exhibition highlighted the artist's reinterpretation of symbols and archetypes through a contemporary lens. The spatial design emphasized the continuity of her visual vocabulary, allowing visitors to trace the evolution of her practice across nearly four decades.
